1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect and why
Joining the announcement list
When you fill in the form on the site, we collect your first name and email address. The platform we send emails through also records the date and time you signed up and the IP address you submitted the form from. to verify
We use them for one thing: sending you conference announcements (venue, programme, Early Bird, speakers) and one letter every two weeks, written by Codruța or Eduard.
Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box in the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, without having to explain why.

Messages you send us
If you email us, we keep the message and the address it came from, so we can reply and so we have the context if you write again. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering the requests we receive (Article 6(1)(f)).
Technical data about your visit
The server hosting the site automatically logs your IP address, browser type, time of access and the pages you visited. These logs serve the operation and security of the site and are kept for [X days] by our hosting provider. to complete
We collect nothing else: there are no user accounts, we don’t sell tickets through this site at the moment, and we don’t ask for your job title, company or phone number. to update when ticket sales open
3. Who else has access
To send emails and keep the site online, we work with a few providers who process the data strictly on our behalf and on our instructions:

- The site’s fonts are loaded from Google’s servers, which means your IP address reaches Google when the page is displayed. remove if fonts are self-hosted
Beyond these, we pass the data to no one. We don’t sell it, we don’t give it to conference sponsors or partners, and we don’t use it for anything other than what you’ve read here. We would only disclose it to an authority if the law required us to.
4. How long we keep it
- List data: until you unsubscribe. After that we delete it within [X months], keeping only the minimum needed to avoid emailing you again by mistake. to decide

6. How we protect the data
The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the subscriber list is limited to the organisers, through individual password-protected accounts [with two-factor authentication]. to confirm
8. Changes to this page
As the conference gets closer we’ll add things to the site — ticket sales, for one. When the way we handle data changes, we update this page and change the date at the top. If a change affects you directly, we’ll email you.
This page exists in English and Romanian. In case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the [Romanian / English] version prevails. to decide
